STILL loving the math! I laid out some number cards randomly and DJ placed the correct bead materials under them. This material is great for keeping little bodies moving rather than sitting calmly at a desk. DJ is still struggling with learning the numbers 11-19 despite his great desire to count to twenty. DJ did some practical life work in the yard with his dad recently. It was hot, hard, dry work… but… It was SO worth the effort! Now this is the way to do summer. Remember when DJ received these pattern blocks for his birthday and he was so frustrated because the pieces would shift as he added new pieces? Well, six months later and there’s no more frustration, just a lot of fun! He’s also really enjoying being able to count to 10.
