Welcome to Summer

DJ did some practical life work in the yard with his dad recently. It was hot, hard, dry work… but… It was SO worth the effort! Now this is the way to do summer. Art Folders (well sort of)

The Montessori language album that I use has a section titled “Art Folders”. The purpose is to expose the child to various forms of art and to stimulate conversation about art. I love this idea and it’s something I’d really like to do. However, the album says the materials include “three color-coded sets of folders, each containing 12-15 pictures of artwork.” The first set is for artists, one folder per artist.
